Dr. Armen Kelikian is a Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon, concentrating
in adult and pediatric treatment of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. His areas
of special interest are foot and ankle reconstruction, total ankle replacement,
fracture care, diabetic foot care, deformities of the foot and ankle, and
sports injuries. He is on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Lutheran
General Hospital, River North Same Day Surgery Center, and Golf Surgery Center.
The author of numerous publications, including the books Operative Treatment of the Foot and Ankle, Orthopaedic Pocket Series: Foot and Ankle, and Disorders of the Ankle, Dr. Kelikian’s research findings have been presented at national conferences, and he is a frequent instructor for courses pertaining to foot and ankle care.
Dr. Kelikian currently serves as a team physician for the Chicago Bears and has served previously as team physician for the Chicago Blackhawks. He is a Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, where he’s received the James K. Stack Teaching Award four times in recognition of his academic and research activities.
He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and completed residencies at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Children’s Memorial Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident.
