Dr. Raju Ghate is a Board Eligible orthopaedic surgeon concentrating on total joint replacement of the knee and hip. He is on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Rush North Shore Medical Center, and St Joseph Hospital.
Dr. Ghate is a Clinical Instructor at the Feinberg School of Medicine. He is an active investigator in the areas of minimally invasive and revision joint surgery, and has authored numerous papers presented at national orthopaedic meetings.
In addition to joint reconstruction, Dr. Ghate is experienced in knee arthroscopy, non-surgical treatment of the knee and hip, and general orthopaedic treatment. He is proud to serve as an international volunteer surgeon with Operation Walk to provide total joint replacements in under-developed areas throughout the world.
He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and completed his residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He completed a fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction at RUSH University Medical Center, where he acquired skills in the most current techniques in minimally invasive surgery and revision joint replacement surgery.
